HOW TO OBTAIN/COSTS OF A POLICE REPORT?
Police reports must be obtained at the Police Department in person and with a picture ID. A “report release form” must also be completed and approved prior to any release.

Collision Report $14.00

HOW TO RETRIEVE TOWED VEHICLES?
All vehicles stored or impounded by the St. Helena Police Department will only be released with a valid driver’s license and current registration.
HOW TO OBTAIN PROPERTY OR EVIDENCE?
The retrieval of property or evidence must be done during the hours of 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM, Monday –Thursday and every other Friday. Any special arrangements can be made with the property clerk (Community Service Officer Banks). All inquires can be directed to Community Service Officer Laurie Banks at 707-967-2850.
WHAT ARE THE DATES/TIMES/COSTS FOR FINGERPRINTING?
HOW LONG CAN A VEHICLE REMAIN PARKED ON A CITY STREET WITHOUT BEING MOVED?
The City of St. Helena has a Municipal Code that prohibits the parking of vehicles upon any public street in excess of 72 hours. These vehicles will be removed after a written notice is given to the registered or legal owner. If you suspect a vehicle has been parked in excess of 72 hours, please call the Police Department at 967-2850 and advise the dispatcher of the location of vehicle, license number and vehicle description.
